- As a Head / GM - Agriculture Division, you will be responsible for commercial agricultural operations along with technological solutions to farmers.
What you will do:
- Overseeing the whole business from the planning, to carrying out duties and responsibilities that are needed for the business to be a successful one.
- Leading a team of 10 to 15 agro specialists to deliver pre-defined top line in all hotspots of designated crop/s & geography.
- Providing Strategy Planning, Budgeting, Implementation & Review
- Hiring new team & very well trained prior to joining
- Team handling their performance evaluation
- Driving organizational and communications objectives
- Ensuring the quality in publishing of Brochures, presentations for farmers and other events
- Developing rapport with the print and electronic media for widespread outreach to public and key players
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Minimum 10 yrs of experience
- Have experience in agribusiness or agri business development.
- Experience in handling a farm, or work experience in economics is a big advantage
- Specialized knowledge: Farm production, Agri Extension & passionate to work with farming community even in remote farming areas etc.
- To become an agribusiness manager/head, one must acquire a masters degree in agricultural, specialization in agriculture, business administration, marketing, or any other related field.
