Key Responsibilities:
1. Fulfilment Strategy: Develop and execute the company's fulfilment strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a high-performing team of fulfilment professionals, including supervisors, planners, and logistics staff.
3. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve fulfilment processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize excess stock, and prevent stockouts.
5. Supplier and Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics partners, negotiate contracts, and ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and components.
6. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the products meet or exceed customer expectations.
7. Cost Management: Develop and manage the fulfilment budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-effective strategies.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
9. Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the performance of the fulfilment department and make data-driven decisions.
10. Customer Focus: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer service and timely order fulfillment.
11. Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential fulfilment challenges and disruptions.
