Formulation/Product Development Head - Agrochemical

- Creating, developing, and improving Co's products, processes, and markets.

- Identifying new formulations for the Pesticide (Insecticide, Fungicide & Herbicides) portfolio; new product launch as well as Product Life-cycle Management.

- Pilot preparation for Combination products and coordinating with Registration & Regulatory bodies.

- Training programmes for field staff and driving various project undertaken by the company on various crops & products from time to time.

- Coordinating with institutions for getting Efficacy and Toxicology data generation.

- Field evaluation of new products Fungicides, Insecticides, Herbicides in different crops.

- Designing the protocols according to Market requirement, according to Indian climate and market segment.

- To conduct in-house trials to evaluate efficacy of Agri inputs technologies i.e insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, PGR, liquid fertilizers, biologicals etc.

- Identification of potential crops /pests segments for market development of existing products

- To plan, prepare study protocol and execute the in-house trials as well as data generation (bio efficacy, residues, persistence, etc.) in State Agricultural Universities/ ICAR Institutes/National Labs which is required for registration.

- Recording and interpretating of field trials data's and preparation of scientific reports and presentations

- To provide technical support to sales, marketing team as and when required to the region

- Technical training of field sales and marketing team

- To co-ordinate and liaising with State Agricultural Universities/ ICAR Institutes/National Labs to managing the testing and regulatory data generation work for herbicides/insecticide/fungicides specially bio-efficacy, residue and persistence in plant.

- Preparation of draft reports of institutional trials specially for bio-efficacy, residue and persistence in plant for herbicides/insecticide/fungicides

- Co-ordinate with SAU's scientists for crop label claim data generation activities and inclusion in state POP's

- Collecting and colleting market and competitors information which required for making strategic decisions.

Qualification And Experience:

i. MSc (Agri) degree/PG with at least 8+ years of experience in developing new formulations for the pesticides industry.

ii. Demonstrated record of achievement in formulation from prototype development to commercialization phases.

iii. Experience in transfer of products from lab to manufacturing scale4. Experience working with interfaces such as Chemical, Biology Agronomy, IP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Registration departments through past roles

iv. S/He should be open to travelling frequently.

v. S/He should have an excellent track record in their earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment.
