Job Description :
- The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across our Alternate Channel business which includes National Chain Stores and Value Chains, Exclusive Brand Stores (EBO) and Institutional Channels pan-India.

Our client is one of India's largest group companies in the essentials retail space and the company provides comfortable and fashionable essential clothing across ages groups, gender and income.
Description :
- Prepare and execute business growth strategies in the aforementioned channel
- Expanding the channel network- assisting in business development
- Drive product pricing, margins, contributions, budget management, Account Receivables, Terms of Trade and financial reconciliations/sign-offs
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers & malls and drive Joint Business Plans with them by aligning with their marketing calendars
- Drive portfolio planning, new product launches and assortment planning for all the fashion seasons across the channels
- Build brand visibility through effective Visual Merchandising, excellent in-store/ surround promotions and shopper brand recall
- Drive Stock Management, Sales Forecasting, customer/ store Fill Rates and reduction in cost to serve with various initiatives across all applicable channels
- Based on retail and shopper insights, build and develop channel & customer marketing plans with targets to deliver on better store rankings
- Manage directly and indirectly a diverse team of 550+ field and corporate sales employees spread across the country
Profile :
- Experience in managing Large Format Stores is a necessity
- Experience of 10-15 years with 7+ years in clothing retail is a necessity
- Proven history of excellent project management, delivery, sets clear priorities and meets deadlines
- Positive, driven, ability to influence, and agile
- Leadership experience of more than 5 years is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Resilient, resourceful and ability to perform under pressure
- MBA/Masters in Sales & Marketing is ideal but not mandatory
