About our Client: Our client is a global pharmaceutical giant with operations in more than 50 countries and an employee strength of more than 60,000. It is a an established industry leader and a key player in the global markets. They are looking to hire the Head for their Forecasting Function.

Job Description: Reporting to the Head Global Commercial Operations and Head of Market Effectiveness Services, the person would be responsible for :

- Leads the Worldwide forecasting team to manage delivery of brand, therapy area and market forecasts for global HQ marketing/country pharma organization/business franchises

- Ensuring adherence to time-lines and quality objectives

- Drives translation of forecasting analysis and assumptions into business recommendations that deliver current and future business success for Pharma

- Ensures transparent measurement and communication of risks and opportunities; and ensures consistency in forecast related information across all functions/geographies

- Drives integrated forecasting plans and recommendations to address and solve business questions from business franchises and from regions and countries

- Ensures all forecasting activities delivered with best-practice and adhere to SOPs and standard processes

- Leads the development and implementation of innovative forecast methodologies that helps deliver robust forecasts

- Ensures exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates, and global customers through regular local and global updates with focus on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes, key events, etc.

The Successful Candidate:

- An MBA + Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering/Pharmacy/ Science/Statistics or related fields (including MBBS/MDs/MS/MPH) is required.

- An Overall 12-15+ years of experience, with 5-10+ years in forecasting or related roles with a leading Pharma principal/solution provider and at least 3-4 years' experience in leading a team is ideal.

- Experience should reflect a track record of operational excellence in analytics/forecasting space.
