Looking for candidates with 10 years+ management experience in high care, short shelf life fresh chilled foods or similar with responsibility for the development and performance management of teams.
- FSSAI department liaison and management (including audit, response, communications)
- Knowledge of key legislation as defined by Central and state regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of US/EU/ MEA requirements for export of food products
KRA's:
- The Food Safety and Quality Manager leads the Food Safety and related quality assurance aspects and sets the Food Safety agenda for the operation while ensuring legal compliance for the business
- Accountable for the food safety validation of all processes and product. i.e., to ensure we are - doing the right things- . Ensures that the teams are - doing things right- (i.e verification) through the development of the Quality Management system, its implementation, through the QA Manager.
- Drives continuous improvement of standards and manages liaison with the Division Quality team and Product Development, regulatory bodies (FSSAI, legal met), key forums & institutions to keep up to speed on developments and is a member of the senior management team.
