Job Purpose:

Lead Global Network of Contract Manufacturing Operations and deploy strategies, best practices and technologies in alignment with clients vision of making quality medicines available at affordable cost. Drive constant engagement with all strategic partners, AVD / de-risking of products, CI to give Company competitive advantage.

Key Accountabilities:

Accountability Cluster:

- Build a Global network of partners to deliver quality products of company Standard. Also drive 3P manufacturing for the new diagnostics portfolio

- Maintain strategic alliance with all partners to nurture long terms relationship for sustainable business.

- Drive manufacturing operations at all partners by managing the on-going relationship, quality compliance and production to ensure serviceability.

- Drive Commercials, Negotiations and cost saving initiatives to improve profitability of business.

Accountability Cluster

- Conduct market analysis to assess environmental conditions to determine a buy best approach evaluating value beyond price (e.g. Innovation, Growth, Life-Cycle Costs, Working Capital, and Capex) while ensuring material continuity and minimizing supply risk management objectives

- Drive and Manage Technology Transfer, Statutory, Regulator Compliance.

- Oversee Documentation, QMS and Training activities.

- Build a highly motivated & result oriented team by leading tactical and strategic initiatives within the team to departments meet goals & objectives.

- Inculcation of Continuous Improvement and automation culture.

- New Product development/ launch.

- Drive US Launch and existing products through CMO.

- Global Inlicensing business support.

- Budgeting and control in collaboration with SCM finance

- Lead the EMEU 3P manufacturing portfolio.

- Head all the de-risking / AVD related projects ensure supply security and give company a competitive advantage.

Relevant experience:

- Experience in Techno-Commercial Operations of Pharmaceutical Industry with exposure to several dosage forms like OSD, Topical, Sterile and Liquid Orals in contract manufacturing.

- Handled multiple CMOs at Global level.

- Good knowledge of cGMP, WHO, FDA/EU regulatory guidelines, validation practices, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.

- Should have good Market intelligence and insights, network of Third party manufacturers

- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, collaboration, negotiation and analytical skills

- Has demonstrated strong leadership in a team work environment and with strong team coordination abilities
