Head - Financial Research - Advisory Firm - IM/ISB/MDI/FMS

We are hiring for a Head of Financial Research role with a premier research and advisory firm serving global financial institutions. This strategic leadership role requires deep domain expertise in financial research, client relationship management, and people leadership. You'll lead a team that supports Investment Banks, Wealth Managers, and Private Equity firms with high-quality insights and analysis.

Responsibilities -

1. Lead the Financial Research function, managing complex global research engagements across M&A, private credit, equity research, and more.

2. Oversee project lifecycle - from understanding specifications to quality delivery - while ensuring alignment with client expectations.

3. Develop and manage client relationships with financial institutions including Investment Banks, Sell-Side Publishing Firms, and Brokerage Houses.

4. Drive new business development through consultative client engagement and strategic solutioning.

5. Provide technical expertise in areas such as buyer identification, financial due diligence, company valuation, thematic and equity research, and credit analysis.

Requirements -

1. MBA from a premier Indian B-school (IIMs or other Tier-1 institutes preferred).

2. Minimum 10 years of experience in M&A or financial research consulting.

3. At least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing teams and client-facing projects.

4. Deep expertise in equity research, thematic research, valuations, M&A advisory, and private credit.

5. Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
