About our Client: Our client is an industry leading Telecoms company operating on a Pan India basis with scope for Global expansion. They have a diverse portfolio of products and are recognized as pioneers in this industry. They are looking to recruit an FP&A Head to lead their Financial Planning & Analysis operations for their Pan India operations. This is a high profile, decision making position that will be capable of adding real value to the organization.

Job Description: Reporting directly to the Head BPM you will be responsible for:

- Working closely with Senior Management team for determining accurate assumptions to drive the rolling forecast models.

- Providing the management with rolling forecast together with actual(s) variance analysis and explanations.

- Building of Scenario Analysis on the rolling forecasts.

- Build up of Long Range Plans (10 years / 5 Years) for external ratings and company valuation.

- Closing Circle Bottoms up AOP with the circle business teams post reconciliation of same with the Top down AOP.

- Conducting the variation analysis between Flash & Forecast V/s Actuals & AOP V/s Actuals

- Monitoring of all the forecasts (including AOP) prepared under IGAAP (Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

- Driving efficiencies in the system through Annual Operating Plan upload in the ERP system (Oracle 11i) and implementation of Planning Tool like COGNOS/Hyperion Relative scoring of the circles on various parameters like EBITDA, Capital Productivity and PET (Planning Efficiency)

- Ensuring timely preparation of the presentation for the quarterly board meeting by comparing and assessing the quarterly financial and non financial performance of the company

- Analyzing the capex spends head- wise incurred by each of the business units (circle teams) vis a vis AOP and ensuring NFA approvals in case of any Overruns to ensure DOA (Delegation of Authority) compliances.

The Successful Candidate:

- You must be a CA with 7-10 years of post qualification experience in the FP&A domain.

- Knowledge of IFRS & Expertise in Financial Modeling, Planning tools like Cognos and Hyperion, MSExcel and other MS Office Tools (Word, Access and Power point) is a must.

- Experience of working in Capital Intensive companies would be an added advantage.
