Head - Financial Modelling & Risk Evaluation - Metal & Mining Business

We have been mandated by a large global conglomerate in Metal & Mining Business for the below mentioned position

Position Name : Head -FINANCIAL MODELLING & RISK EVALUATION

Education : CA or MBA from premier institute

Experience : 6+

Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

- Project economics and Risk profile for due-diligence assessment and formulating a Business case.

- Prepare checklist for items of Capex and Opex for which estimation has to be done for developing the Projects' Financial Profile and collaborate with internal and external source subject matter expert for formulating assumption to be incorporated in Financial Model.

- Participating in live on-line reverse or forward auctions ensuring highest levels of diligence

- Handhold the transition from Bid Team to Operating Team in case of success in securing any new project including execution of relevant long-term agreements

- Work with external consultants engaged for the purpose of technical, financial, taxation and legal due-diligence if any for any opportunity

- Provides quality assurance for specific Financial Models (including Projected Cash-flows, Profit and Loss Statement, and for assigned business projects)

- Drives continuous improvement for the Financial Modelling Cell including ability to design Zero-based models for each specific project and context

- Conduct analysis on topics such as new market opportunities, strategic initiatives, competitive landscape and cross-business segment opportunities

- Monitor key macro environment trends relevant for existing business operations and projects in hands both from the perspective of scanning for new growth opportunities and potential impact on Project economics (Revenue / Opex and Capex)
