Head - Finance - Startup - CA

We are currently retained by a leading well funded startup to hire a Finance Head to lead their entire finance function and manage investor relations. As a Finance Head you will be an advisor to the Top Management for evaluating and assisting them with their financial & business planning and overseeing all financial responsibilities for the organization.

- You would need to have strong understanding of business finance and been a part of the IPO for a company to fil the bill.

- This role will be responsible for end-to end finance with focus on Business Impact, Compliance, Process Excellence, Investor decks, and Finance Reporting & Insights.

This role is for a company that's on a fast growth journey and is on its 10-100 journey.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a Strategic business partner to senior executive leadership team.

- Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regards to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts and provide insights and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.

- Ensure proper functioning of accounting system, company policies and procedures, and internal control for accounting process.

- Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the firm.

- Implement policies, procedures, and processes.

- Ensure Financial Reporting for leadership team, advise and lead fund raising, and manage investor relations.

- Ensure Statutory compliances regarding all Finance functions.

- Providing strong leadership to a large finance team

Required Skills & Attributes :

- Must have experience of working in a senior finance role, including experience of managing a finance team/function.

- CA and MBA Finance from a top B School

- 12+ years of finance experience with a large MNC followed by startup

- High-level understanding of strategy & operations in a professional services set-up.

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.

- Excellent communication and team management skills.

- Well organized and self-directed
