Head - Finance & Sales Accounting - Manufacturing- CA

Job Description :

- To be the Head of Finance of the professionally run business group. Should be able to provide leadership in the finance function and be part of the core top management team involved in corporate planning, joint ventures etc.

- Help steer the long term business objectives of the company through risk-adjusted forecasting and planning that help prioritize organic/ inorganic growth opportunities

- Effectively manage strategic as well as operational priorities by managing relationships with senior leadership as well as function/business heads in the organization

- Assist in decision support operations to enable the company to operate more effectively and efficiently

- Manage financial volatilities in order to support the company's strategies

- Work collaboratively to improve financial management and maintain an operating environment that values cash, profit margins, and risk mitigation

- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in adherence to accounting standards and standards of corporate governance

- Lead the analysis of business results and relevant KPIS and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement

- Oversee monthly MIS reporting, receivables follow-ups, payment of taxes etc.

- Develop and maintain finance and accounting policies in alignment with statutory requirements

- Compliance's with Direct & indirect tax including transfer pricing

- Drive the timely completion of the Annual budgeting process, monthly rolling forecast and plan for working capital requirements for the business

- Preparation of the monthly Dashboards/ tracking the actual performance v/s the Budget and the Rolling forecast.

- Ensure timely payments to vendors/contractors

- Closely supervise and control operating costs at all fronts

- Implement systems and processes to optimize cost

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization

- Oversee and coordinate the activities of internal auditors

Educational and Experience Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in dealing with Finance, Accounts, Cost management, Taxation, Audits, Processes, Systems and Corporate Governance working with large teams

- 15 + years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts function in a technology/ start-up ecosystem with experience working in an ambiguous environment.

- Last 5 years in a leadership position in the Finance and Accounts function

- Sharp commercial/ business acumen coupled with strong functional and technical knowledge

- Ability and willingness to take risks; Should have a growth-oriented mindset

- A proactive planner with dexterity in identifying and adopting emerging trends and addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives

- Articulate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- High level of personal and professional integrity, both in ethics and values

- High energy and motivated individual with sound ability to operate in a dynamic and complex business environment.
