Operations Head- Finance
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with myStartUpCFO and MyTaxFiler& and the broader company's objectives.
- Drive the implementation of initiatives that support business growth and enhance the client experience.
Resource Management and Optimization:
- Oversee allocation of resources (human and technological) to maximize staff utilization and realization rates.
- Analyze workload, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline processes for optimal efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Serve as a mentor and guide for the operations team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement, emphasizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives and champion the implementation of automation tools where applicable.
Quality Control and Risk Mitigation:
- Establish, implement, and monitor rigorous quality control standards for all operational processes.
- Proactively identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performance Monitoring and Data Analysis:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with HR to optimize recruitment, onboarding, and staff development strategies in alignment with operational needs.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Delivery teams to ensure seamless client experiences and timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications:- Bachelor or master degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- MBA, CA, or other relevant professional certification strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a substantial portion in a leadership role.
- Demonstrable experience in a professional services or tax/accounting environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Proven strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Past experience with leading large teams (300+) of finance professionals
- In-depth understanding of resource management principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, rooted in first-principles thinking.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
