About Our Client

Our client is a leading software company originated in the US and has its operations widely spread across in Asia-pacific. With un-matched value, excellent service and performance level and having majority market share in the area that they operate. They are further looking to expand their business operations in India and are currently looking out for a Head of Finance based out of their corporate office in Mumbai.

Job Description

Reporting into the APAC-CFO your responsibilities will be:

- Developing the pricing strategy for the India business and help achieve strong business results as budgeted by the top management

- Analyzing contracts, participating in contract negotiations along with the commercial team and formulating budgets to support business growth in India

- Interacting with key stakeholders within the business and implementing cost optimization techniques to identify and enhance profit margins

- Spearheading the tax planning and compliance function and ensuring tax measures are implemented as per Indian tax laws

- Ensuring business hygiene is maintained and new systems and controls are implemented to enhance productivity

- Supporting the Country Manager to take key business decisions, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring maximum growth is delivered

The Successful Applicant

- You are a CA or ICWA with 12-15 years of post qualification experience in the software industry. You have strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen and prior experience in handling a well sized team. You should have -contributed to business growth in the past at a senior level and should drive company performance. You possess strong leadership abilities and should have worked in the Software Industry.
