Job Description : An opportunity to be the India finance head and double hat as the India site leader for a portfolio company of a well known Amercian Multinational Investment Bank

Client Details : Our client is a SaaS based company with presence acorss Singapore, Tokyo and India. Backed by a well known Amercian Multinational Investment Bank they are on the verge of expanding into US.

Description :

- The Head of Finance position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company.

- This includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

The candidate should have :

- Proven experience as CFO or Head of Finance or Finance director or a comparable relevant role

- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP, etc.)

- Worked with product companies and helped in financial planning

- Experience in fund raising, inception to closure

- Ability to strategize and solve problems

- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and people skills

- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

- Experience in start-up will be an additional advantage

- Should be able to handle corporate affairs, company legal matters

- Should have exposure in working in an Startup, MNC with global exposure

The candidate should be able to showcase skill set and experience to address the following principal accountabilities :

- Planning

- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

- Develop financial and tax strategies

- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

- Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction

- Operations

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team

- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

- As part of the management team, help to Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments

- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations

- Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced

- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

- Implement operational best practices

Oversee employee benefit plans, with emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package :

- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions

- Financial Information

- Oversee the issuance of financial information

- Report financial results to the board of directors

- Personally, review and approve all Forms and filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (in preparation and if/when the company is publicly held)

- Risk Management

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry

- Construct and monitor reliable control systems

- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

- Funding

- Experience in fund raising, inception to closure

- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

- Arrange for debt financing and equity financing

- Third Parties

- Participate in conference calls with the investment community

- Maintain banking relationships

- Represent the company with investment bankers and investors

- Strong verbal and writing skills

- Excellent analytical abilities and a strong ability to think critically

- A self-driven individual contributor who can take initiatives to get things done, and drive/manage the relevant teams

Profile : As an ideal candidate you are a CA with 10+ years of experience in a Saas based/ deep technology company with exposure to handling Investor relations and oversight of other functions along with F&A
