Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

- Commercial responsibility
- Develop financial strategies and plans to support the refinery's long-term goals and objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare financial forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Quarterly projection of forecast
- Budgetary control & Variance analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify financial risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs and investment requirements.
- Evaluate and prioritize capital investment opportunities, monitor project financials, and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and other statutory obligations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Qualified CA with at least 10 years of relevant experience only from oil and gas industry (oil refinery).
- Strong financial acumen with in-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and financial modelling tools.
