Job Title: Head of Finance

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer / Managing Director

Job Summary:

- The Head of Finance will oversee the financial strategy, planning, and management of the company's financial operations in Bangladesh.

- The role demands a strong leader with extensive experience in the FMCG sector, ensuring financial compliance, business growth, cost optimization, and risk management while driving profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.

- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and corporate policies.

- Cost & Revenue Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, monitor P&L performance, and optimize revenue streams.

- Working Capital & Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury management to ensure financial stability.

- Taxation & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies.

- Risk Management & Internal Controls: Implement strong internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, and financial audits to safeguard company assets.

- Business Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations) to drive business growth and financial performance.

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Key Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: CA -Preferred or equivalent MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

- Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the FMCG industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG financial operations, including supply chain finance, pricing strategies, and cost structures.

- Technical Expertise: Strong command over financial modelling, budgeting tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and regulatory frameworks.

- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage teams, and drive strategic initiatives.

- Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, make data-driven decisions, and contribute to business growth.

- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Bangladesh financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance.
