Role Profile :
Relationship and management :
- Understand needs and manage teams to fulfil these requirements.
- Collaborate with teams and finance leadership to ensure seamless service delivery to the highest quality.
- Build a cohesive and integrated working relationship between onshore and offshore finance teams
- Collaborate with business transformation teams for process optimisation, technology team for technology deployment.
- Collaborate with People & Culture team to drive people matters (hiring, performance evaluation, training & development, etc.)
- Stay abreast of global best practices and contribute to global finance operations initiatives.
- Liaise with CoE Finance teams globally to stay abreast with developments and alignment with best practice.
Quality Management :
- Ensure quality of deliverables and services are aligned to excellence required.
- Proactively manage risks, ensuring an open risk culture with clear processes to manage and escalate issues appropriately
- Establish and provide timely reporting of KPI's and service levels to management. Escalation point for onshore team for deliverables and key issues
- Coordinate the performance scoring of CoE teams, present result and facilitate related discussions.
- Implement effective internal controls to comply with the group procedures.
- Ensure adherence to group accounting policy for BREP and BPPA entities.
Team Management :
- Lead and help develop the finance operations team.
- Responsible for establishing strong collaboration and feedback mechanism between SG and CoE team.
- Workload management, analysis and recommendation to improve efficiency and productivity
- Onboard new team members, application of the operating processes.
- Assess team needs, responsible for providing ongoing coaching, training direct reports and developing Finance training programmes.
- Look for opportunities to create cross functional knowledge sharing across CoE
- Monitor appropriateness of team structure.
Transformation Initiatives :
- Work closely with Business Transformation team to identify and drive improvement initiatives to benefit department, ensuring technology and processes and outsourcing are optimized.
- Optimize and standardize processes to drive efficiency.
- Support harmonization of processes across jurisdiction.
- Develop policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the department.

- Preferred Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- 12 - 15 years of experience in service/ shared services industries
- Executional excellence and driving business results
- Coaching skills to effectively empower, engage and develop team members
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building skills required with a solid track record in developing internal and external relationships and fostering team spirit
