Academics & Qualification
- Should have a master's degree in accounting or business administration (Finance). Preferably Chartered Accountant
Work Experience
- 15+ years of experience, including at least 5-7 years of leadership management experience in a business partnering / strategic decision support role
- Should have a strong background and specialization in Finance function, with an orientation towards Business Finance and Business Partnering
- Exposure to IPO handling experience with entrepreneurial setup will be an advantage
- Should have exposure to multi-cultural work environments

Responsibilities & Duties
Budgetary Planning
- Drive the annual budget process for timely completion and proactively monitor/drive for delivery of revenue and profit objectives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategies and key action steps in annual business plan
- Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve key business decisions Develop performance measures that support P & L delivery with an alert eye on cost management
- Regular monitoring of organisation's financial performance, enabling timely course correction through respective function colleagues
Financial Performance Management
- Proactively manage cash flow for smooth operation and working capital management
- Manage capital budgeting, communicate capital requirements/ implications of business decisions to CEO
- Grow equity value - increase gross profit and reduce debt.
- Manage Profit & Loss Accounts and Financial Management of the company.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly forecasts, monthly analysis and quarterly operating reviews, through timely and accurate MIS in relation to funding activities and deployment / utilization of funds
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and statutory budgetary reporting requirements
- Responsible for sourcing funds requirements to support Working Capital needs
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget. Manage the preparation of all financial reports
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
- Manage relationship with banks and financial institutions to ensure cost effective and preferential services for Handiman. Review credit rating periodically and develop mechanisms to ensure achievement of target credit rating
- Finalize templates for project costing and liaise with department heads to periodically review effort-cost associations; communicate rationale for project costing to concerned Heads of Departments
- Assist Management in the development of guidelines for investment of Handiman funds in line with financial risk management guidelines
Strategic Finance
- Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing long term business strategy
- IPO, Acquisition, mergers
- Financial and Strategic Planning in terms of Risk assessment, efficient internal control, Performance Management, Decision analysis and Risk Management
- Strategic Planning & Management - Part of the Senior Management team, contributing to the strategy formulation, resourcing, implementation and evaluation
- Develop and implement policies on the banking mix for project level and corporate level fund requirements
- Evaluation and guidance on new business opportunity and investment in new business projects
- Effectively manage sponsor, bank, board of director and financial advisor relationships
- Ensures efficient capital expenditures for minimizing taxes
Statutory Compliances
- Annual returns and filing
- Direct and Indirect taxation
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Custodian of internal and external compliances
People Management
- Develop and coach existing team, proactively replace underperformers as needed
- Must have Operational control with the team through planning/review system
