Job Description - Reporting to the CFO, you will be heading the entire Finance function for Indian operations. You will be leading an in-house team along with an outsourced Finance team. Your main set of responsibilities will include:

- Promote quality (""first time right approach"") in the Accounting department

- Analyze and recommend improvement potentials for Finance & Accounting (and Controlling)

- Assist in enhancing reporting and management information system

- Identify potentials for increasing efficiency

- Responsible for overall direction of all accounting (in particular General Ledger) and cash-flow management matters of the company

- Responsible for taxation and treasury functions

- Ensuring timely completion of audits and ensures compliance with audit requirements

- Responsible for preparing cash-flow forecast

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and coordinating proper assessments/appeals of taxes (direct as well as indirect)

- Ensure systems and process to ensure adequate internal controls and efficient service to internal as well as external customers / stake holders

The Successful Candidate -

- You must be a qualified CA with 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in a mid-large size business within engineering or a related industry.

- You should have exposure to IGAAP compliances, local taxation and government policies.

- Prior experience of building scale for a start up, setting up finance function and standardizing SOPs would be an added advantage.

- This role involves regular interaction with key international stakeholders at the parent company with high exposure to cross-functional teams, therefore an excellent interpersonal communication skill set is a must.
