Position Overview :

Creating forecasting models, monitoring risk in investments, and ensuring all accounting processes comply with regulations are among the tasks of the Head of Finance. To succeed in this position, one should have prior expertise developing financial plans and leading accounting teams. The individual is also in charge of creating a financial and operational strategy, as well as the construction and monitoring of control systems aimed at preserving corporate assets and reporting accurate financial results. He/she is responsible for driving financial modelling improvements in the planning and forecasting models to enhance efficiency, support new initiatives, and accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions.

- Providing effective leadership in developing strong governance around Company Finances and compliance.

- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

- Overseeing all operational aspects related to finance, P&L, and legal aspects of the business.

- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.

- Framing financial and accounting policies and promoting financial discipline in all decisions of the company through creation and awareness of frameworks and ensuring adherence.

- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.

- Managing the budget process.

- Contributing as a member of the leadership team to the business decisions of the company, especially ensuring the financial viability of all decisions.

Job requirements :

- 10+ years of experience as the Finance Head or similar role.

- Hands on experience with budgeting and risk management.

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.

- Proficiency in accounting software.

- Remarkable leadership qualities.

- Ability to make instant decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Education :

- BA/BBA in Finance and accounting from reputed universities.

- MBA in Finance and accounting from reputed universities (IIM, IIT, BITS Pilani).
