Head of Finance

United Brothers Distilleries Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate must have expertise in financial planning, compliance, and export operations, specifically in exporting Indian products to the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.

Export Finance & International Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with Indian and U.S. financial regulations, taxation, and trade policies.

- Manage forex transactions, export pricing strategies, and international payment settlements.

- Liaise with customs authorities, banks, and financial institutions for export-related documentation.

Financial Controls & Risk Management:

- Implement internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.

- Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and corporate governance.

Fund Management & Capital Allocation:

- Optimize working capital, oversee cash flow management, and manage banking relationships.

- Identify funding sources for business expansion and international operations.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Handle direct and indirect tax matters, including GST, excise duties, and international taxation.

- Ensure timely statutory compliance and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities.

Stakeholder Management & Business Growth:

- Collaborate with senior management to support business expansion in the U.S. market.

- Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) + MBA (Finance)

Experience: 10+ years in finance, with a strong background in export finance and international trade, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.

Skills:

- Expertise in international taxation, forex management, and trade finance.

- Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations and Indian export policies.

- Ability to manage financial risks associated with cross-border transactions.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and compliance frameworks.
