Position - Head Finance Controller

Location - Bangalore

Reporting - CFO

Roles and Responsibility

- Setting up the finance processes, and resources and managing day-to-day accounting, including coordination with stakeholders, external advisors, and bankers.

- Take ownership of the accounting and taxation function of the organization

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Supporting audits and tax returns

- Full responsibility of preparing and managing the Balance sheet and P&L, including oversight on Procurements & Accounts Payable processes, Receipts, and Accounts receivable processes, Cash flow management, Payroll process, Direct and Indirect taxes, and expense processing.

- Ensure timely closure of the annual financial statements, address audit queries, and coordinate with tax and other consultants

- Managing compliance with regulatory authorities

- Mentoring and managing the accounting and financial staff

- Advising company managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business.

Qualification and Skill requirements :

- Chartered Accountant with 12+ Years of Experience in Hospitals/Pathology/Clinics/Retail

- Strong experience in closing monthly books, statutory audits, GST & tax compliance, IFRS

- Business-driven with strong financial acumen, Outstanding communication, and presentation skills

- Strategic planning, complex problem resolution, and general management expertise.

- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player.

- Ability to influence senior management, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and provide thought leadership.
