Job Purpose : Unit Finance Manager is responsible for financial management, analysis &amp; control for the Unit. This role reports in to the Unit Head and is expected to work closely with the Unit Head in achieving the financial objectives of the Unit. The Unit Finance Manager is also expected to work closely with Head Finance to ensure that financial objectives, controls and compliances of the Unit are aligned with Group requirements. Business Responsibilities : - Preparing annual plans and monitoring adherence to the same. - Review and control of costs, capital expenditure, working capital and financial risks to ensure optimal financial discipline. - Periodic reporting of financial performance in line with accounting standards and group requirements. - Ensuring smooth functioning of &amp; improvements in routine accounting processes such as accounts receivables, accounts payables (including import transactions), cash &amp; bank operations, employee reimbursements and payroll. - Ensuring review of and improvements to internal controls, processes and IT systems and ensuring closure of relevant internal audit observations. - Ensuring adherence to direct &amp; indirect tax requirements and other statutory compliances. - Ensuring management of cash flows, borrowings and deployment of surplus funds in line with financial prudence and group policies. - Ensuring secretarial, legal and Board requirements are adhered to, including review / preparation of commercial agreements, documents and records, as required.
