Job Purpose / Role :
- Lead all the finance related activities and initiatives including finance planning and controlling for complete R&D as well as the departments and all the projects.
- Thus to ensure that all financial targets will be achieved.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with various functions for controlling Capex and Opex requirements for the existing and new establishment
- Institutionalize review mechanism across organization
- Organize business reviews at various levels (working level, management level and EMT level)
- Management reporting & reviews (MIS)
- Prepare business cases for new projects and ensure project controlling
- Coordinate, manage and drive the business issues of all vehicle projects in the series
- Advise the Business Planning in the business placeholder for succession planning projects and created the business model parameters in Manual discussions
- Create initial targets in consultation with the Business Planning team and align with the concerned departments and track the targets
- Monitor various parameters of the program and compare with the specified objectives
- Provide continuous transparency (early demonstration of deviations) of all business parameters.
- Initiate measures for achievement of financial targets.
- Assesses the impact of alternatives on the return (sensitivities).
- Develops target agreements based on confirmed solutions for new product launches with the concerned agencies.
- Create the project reporting dates (eg., Gateways) the business status report in consultation with the project.
- In charge of monitoring the achievement of business goals (eg model rate of return, net present value, relative DB) of the project and series
- Other finance functions related to disbursements, reimbursements, etc.
- Leads a team of around 10 project and department controllers
