Overview :
Part of the Core Team of the Top Management. Completely responsible for overseeing Finance & Accounts. And as key player of the management team to involve in strategic decisions.
Key Accountabilities :
- Provide Financial, Accounting and Payroll leadership with accountability for overseeing of financial policies and procedures relating to tax and various compliances.
- Responsible for developing financial plans, budgeting, forecasting, Variance Analysis Risk management and strategic planning.
- Leading, directing and managing a team on closing and reporting [monthly, quarterly and annual] for all India related entities as per local and UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Analyzing impact of changes in accounting, tax, compliance laws and working with the BU to determine the impact of the same on the business (for e.g. Direct/Indirect Tax and Labour Laws etc).
- Confirming proper treatment and compliance of all accounting transactions, policies and internal controls.
- Adherence to global corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Supporting Corporate Tax Group in Direct/Indirect Tax and compliance matters relating to the India entities relating to transfer pricing, international taxation, DTAA income tax assessments & litigations etc.
- Ensuring timely compliances under the Income tax, GST, STPI, Custom, FEMA, and various labour laws such as PF, ESI, Minimum Wages CLRA etc. & new Code of Wage Act
- Coordinating with Corporate Tax / Legal / Accounting Policy for review of contracts of between Indian vendors/worldwide associates.
- Coordinating with Corporate Consolidations and Reporting group for timely reporting and compliance of financial information
- Coordinating with Corporate Tax and Legal and consultants for tax and compliance related matters
- Coordinating with Corporate Treasury for funding, investments and banking related activities
- Coordinating external and internal audit (Indian GAAP and IFRS)
Skills & Experience :
Must Have :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Strong working knowledge of technical accounting and business matters
- People Management Skills
- Sound decision making skills
- IT/ ITES experience
