Head - Finance - BPO - CA

Looking for Head of Finance equivalent to a CFO with a BPO which specializes in Credit Advisory, Collection Advisory, Collection Operations, NPA Resolutions & Bad Debt Recovery of retail loans

- The Head of Finance will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial business strategy. As a member of the senior leadership team, Head Finance will be an advisor to CEO and other Functional Heads, evaluating and assisting them with their business plans and economic modelling.

Responsibility:

Planning & Budgeting

- Strategic planning, budgeting and reporting - ensure preparation of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts, ensure financial viabilities of business transactions, and ensure robust management information systems are in place.

- Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long-term business strategy.

- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and execution plans.

- Engage the audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery.

Asset Resolutions & Investment

- Evaluate & Advise, Asset Resolution (Advisory, Collection Operations, NPA Recovery) Proposals

- Support transaction teams throughout by working closely with Senior Management.

Financial Management and control:

- Managing all finance, accounting & tax operations

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Work closely with internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.

Requirements:

i.CA with 15 years of experience aspiring to Head Finance Function and having managed majority of the above stated responsibilities either in Retail Banking, NBFC or Housing Finance and or BPO/KPO Space having managed Collection/Recovery Process

ii. Ability to take decisions, rational judgment and demonstrated execution track record

iii. High level of performance with uncompromising standards of integrity

iv. Ability and proven track record to communicate effectively with all the stakeholders involved, including at very senior levels such as the Board of Directors.

v. Ability to interact comfortably at all levels in the organization.

vi. Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
