Vice President / Head of Finance

Location: Mumbai/ Bangalore

About Us: We are a leading, top VC-funded international B2B trading platform, revolutionizing the industry with innovative solutions and a global reach. As we scale, we are looking for a seasoned finance leader to join our team and build our finance function from the ground up.

Role Overview: The VP/Head of Finance will be a key strategic partner to the executive team, responsible for establishing and managing the finance department. This individual will oversee all financial operations, ensure robust financial controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to support our growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and lead the finance function, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including investors and the board of directors.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiencies.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

- Strong background in financial controllership, with proven experience in business finance.

- Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance functions in a high-growth environment.

- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Experience in the B2B trading or related industry is a plus.
