Head - Finance - Asset Reconstruction Firm - CA

Looking for Head of Finance equivalent for an Asset Reconstruction Company which specializes in Retail Assets

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial business strategy. As a member of the senior leadership team, Head Finance will be an advisor to CEO and other Functional Heads, evaluating and assisting them with their business plans and economic modelling.

Responsibility:

Planning & Budgeting:

- Strategic planning, budgeting and reporting - ensure preparation of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts, ensure financial viabilities of business transactions, and ensure robust management information systems are in place.

- Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long-term business strategy.

- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and execution plans.

- Engage the audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery.

Asset Resolutions & Investment:

- Evaluate & Advise, Asset Resolution (Advisory, Collection Operations, NPA Recovery) Proposals

- Support transaction teams throughout by working closely with Senior Management.

Financial Management and control:

- Managing all finance, accounting & tax operations

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Work closely with internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.

Requirements:

- CA with 15 years of experience aspiring to Head Finance Function and having managed majority of the above stated responsibilities either in Retail Banking, NBFC or Housing Finance and or BPO/KPO Space having managed Collection/Recovery Process

- Ability to take decisions, rational judgment and demonstrated execution track record

- High level of performance with uncompromising standards of integrity

- Ability and proven track record to communicate effectively with all the stakeholders involved, including at very senior levels such as the Board of Directors.

- Ability to interact comfortably at all levels in the organization.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
