At least 4 yrs experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Ability to understand and manage multiple clients in different industry sectors
- Constant interaction with Promoters / Business heads and addressing important areas
- Finalize Financial MIS
- P&L, CF, BS preparation and also Operating MIS
- Provide analysis and commentary to the Financial and Operating MIS
- To take overall ownership for the F&A functions and team members
- Ensure all Statutory Compliances (Service Tax, TDS, VAT, transfer pricing, income tax etc.)
- Willing to travel to multiple locations in a week (within Mumbai)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Cash Flow Planning
- Identifying gaps and building robust processes
- Leading the budgeting effort
- Review of Financial Statements, leading the audit process with a Big 4 or large CA firm
- Managing relationships with Banks (negotiating credit limits, rate of interest, transaction costs etc)
- Reviewing day to day compliance's
- Works with other department heads in the company to help improve business efficiency and help measure business performance
- Leads working capital reduction
- Leads cost savings initiatives
- Leads IT initiatives including ERP implementations
- Implements internal audit findings
- Coordinates secretarial activities and board meetings

- To work as Deputed CFO for clients. The role is not consulting role. The role involves working at client places as if you are the employee of the company in the accounting and finance function.
You will be :
- Handling initially a single client and then may advance to 2 to 3 clients as per your progress.
The functions one stage above the engagement managers (i.e. Engagement Leader) may involve one or more of the following functions based on need of the client on case to case basis -
a) Dealing with CEO and Directors for Finance and Accounts related matters,
b) Work closely with Preparation of finance areas discussion points and other aspects for Board Meetings,
c) Representing the client for Private Equity/Venture Capital fund raising,
d) Representing and reporting the client in front of private equity funders or Venture Capitalists for performance reporting and evaluation,
e) Budget Preparation and and Monitoring, Approving Budgets,
f) Implementation of ERP or other software as per requirement,
g) Compiling Financial Statements,
Required Skills :
- 6-7+ yrs. experience post qualification max experienced 10-12 yrs
Minimum functional skill sets :
All of these :
a) Accounting Supervision
b) Monthly Book Closure
c) Monthly MIS
d) Tax and Companies act compliance's
e) Exposure to ERP other than tally
f) Management of Banking Relationship
g) Budgeting, Actual vs. Budget Reporting
h) AR follow up
i) Statutory Audit Co-ordination
- Largely required industry experience, not CA firm Experience
- From General Manufacturing and/or Service industry, not from specialized verticals like Banks, Mutual Funds, Investment Banking firms, telecom, Large project based companies (Infra), government companies, NGos
- Worked in Both MNC and Indian Entrepreneur Environments
- Worked in mid-sized corporate s Rs. 100-800 Crores Turnover if manufacturing, 25-100 Crore in services
