Head - Finance & Accounts - CA

BNC is hiring for corporate for the position of Finance & Accounts Head

This is a full-time on-site role as F&A Head in Salem, Tamil Nadu.

The candidate will be responsible for leading the Finance and Accounting function of the Plant.

Key responsibilities :

1. Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

2. Ownership of accuracy & timely availability of MIS by leveraging all internal & external F&A resources.

3. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to management with recommended actions.

4. Annual budgeting and planning process. Drive a regular review of all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.

5. Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.

6. Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation

7. Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

9. Coordinate with all functional heads for speedy resolution of all financial issues

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Chartered Accountant with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional MBA or ICWA/CS qualifications will be preferred

2. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Plant finance and accounting, preferably Refractory/Cement/Steel/Chemical Industry and having managed a team of 3-4 persons.

3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

4. Experience in managing taxation and minimizing liabilities

5. Experience in SAP is must.

6. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
