Head - Finance

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Head to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring strategic financial acumen, a strong command over regulatory compliance, investor relations, and operational controllership. This is a high-impact role that demands strong stakeholder engagement including cross-border investors and a deep understanding of the fintech/NBFC ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned with business goals.

- Controllership: Oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage audits, and maintain internal controls.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across SEBI, RBI, and tax authorities; interface with regulators as needed.

- Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors; provide financial insights and reports.

- Fund Deployment: Manage capital allocation and optimize fund utilization across business verticals.

- Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies for liquidity and growth.

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and compliance team.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including international partners, board members, and legal advisors.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must; MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution is an added advantage.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within NBFCs or fintech environments.

- Demonstrated experience in managing investor relations and compliance frameworks.

- Strong understanding of fund deployment strategy, risk management, and financial governance.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with global stakeholders.
