Roles & Responsibilities:


- Supporting Book Keeping, MIS Reporting & AR/AP Activities


- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and timely reporting of all monthly financial information.


- Supports corporate budget and forecasting activities.


- Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


- Advises team members regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.


- Work with the company auditor to ensure a clean and timely yearend audit.


- Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.


- Ensure strict compliance with the outlined processes and standards and follow industry best practices.


- Take ownership of their own work as well as of their team and be accountable for meeting the obligations of the

company.


- Responsible for staff scheduling including, work assignments, employee training, and employee vacations, employee

breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employees.


- Provide effective, constructive, and timely feedback to their team, set the bar and help their teams to meet and/or

exceed it.


- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.


- Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress

to enhance the professional development of staff.


- Provides opportunities for their teams career development.


Core Competencies:


- Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory and legal matters enabling to

perform core accounting and finance functions effectively.


- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others.


- Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office.


Experience and Skills:


- Overall, 4 to 7 years of experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of People Management experience


- Having a strong financial and accounting background with a passion for helping teams get to the next level.


- Commerce Graduate preferably Qualified /Semi-Qualified CA/CMA


- Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory and legal matters enabling to

perform core accounting and finance functions effectively.


- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others.
