Head - Finance

Responsibilities:

- Develops and implements tools and systems to provide periodic critical business, operational and financial information to the board and business/department heads (MIS).

- Prepares, evaluates and assesses company budgets / projections with actuals together with Business and Functional Heads and proactively keeps the MD informed of key deviations.

- Develops and implements financial controls, budgeting and cost management systems.

- Develops and maintains credit management w vendors / landlords / others

- Develops and maintains banking and other industry relationships

- Financial management of corporate customers

- Experience and advanced working knowledge of SAP Accounting

- Accounting, reporting and compliance (Indian GAAP and other regulatory requirements including with FEMA, Labour Laws, Tax)

- Treasury incl cash flow management and forecasting, investments

- Manages and oversees admin function in the company (Company Law compliance and Company Secretary role and responsibilities)

- Develops and maintains SOPs for Finance and other related functions

- Responsible for Internal audit

- Tracks, monitors and evaluates Project and Capital Expenditure

- The Head Finance is part of the Senior Management Team

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated achievement in prior positions in Finance

- Good knowledge and understanding of direct and indirect tax matters

- Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory framework in all aspects

- Experience and understanding of retail (services)

- Leadership, people management and a team player

- Absolute integrity, trustworthiness and transparency

- Minimum 10 years of business and 5 years of management experience
