Job Description:

The Head of Finance will oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing finance functions, implementing financial systems, and leading teams. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of project finance and have experience handling substantial turnovers.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's objectives.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and other legal requirements.

- Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.

- Collaborate with other departments to support project finance initiatives and ensure financial viability of projects.

- Conduct regular audits to assess financial controls and identify areas for improvement.

- Monitor and manage financial risks, including currency fluctuations, interest rate exposure, and credit risks.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CA qualification preferred.

- Proven experience (X years) in a senior finance role, preferably as a Head of Finance or similar position.

- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements and experience in ensuring adherence to regulations.

- Demonstrated expertise in implementing financial systems and driving process improvements.

- Experience in project finance and managing finances for large-scale projects.

- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
