Position : Head Expert Group Instrumentation

Locations : Jamshedpur

Responsibilities :

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Provide effective solutions and recommendations in the area of Instrumentation, Technical support to Engg. & Projects in terms of design and review of Engineering Field inspection and commissioning support to new installation in the area of instrumentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Describe the duties, responsibilities and accountabilities of the position, precisely what the job does and what the output/end result is.

END RESULTS - Resolution of fuel & combustion related problems

KEY ACTIVITIES

Analysis of the plant problem and providing solution

Design & engineering support to different instrumentation process/system up gradation projects done in-house by various dept.

Providing Root Cause Failure Analysis of major problems in the area of Instrumentation System

Study the nature of problem and providing solution based on detail analysis

END RESULTS - Technical consultancy for new installations/equipments/ projects

KEY ACTIVITIES

Explore, Evaluate and introduction of New Technology in the area of Instrumentation & advance measurement system.

Provide Field inspection and commissioning support for all new installation in the area of instrumentation process / equipment

Provide technical support to Engg. & Projects in terms of Design, Review of Engineering by consultants & vendors at the beginning of the project

END RESULTS - Norms & Standards

KEY ACTIVITIES

Create norms and standards in the field of maintenance of Instrumentation systems/process

END RESULTS - Daily Management Implementation

KEY ACTIVITIES

Monitor the proper review of Daily Management and KPI related items.

Primary Skills : Design of instruments and control hardware, Design and Engineering of Instrumentation system, Calibration, Programming, maintenance of process instruments, Instrumentation equipment specification preparation

Secondary Skills : Software Design and design tools, Communication Skill, Determination, Interpersonal, Decisiveness.

Education : B.Tech/B.E.

Branches : Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation

Requirements : Experience:

Minimum 10 years- experience in Instrumentation maintenance

In-depth knowledge of Design & Engineering of instrumentation system of large industrial process, power system, Fuel management etc

In-depth knowledge of calibration, programming and maintenance of different process instruments.

Good problem solving skill in the area of instrumentation

Preparation of Specification of instrumentation equipment for different applications

Evaluation of technical offers for large projects

Successful commissioning of large number of projects.
