Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with industry standards, fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
- Establish measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and report on environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to integrate sustainable practices into day-to-day operations, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Engage stakeholders, both internal and external, to communicate the company's commitment to ESG principles and build partnerships that enhance the organization's overall sustainability profile.
- Implement robust data maintenance and management protocols to ensure accuracy and accessibility of ESG-related information, enhancing decision-making processes.
- Establish and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with customer ESG requirements, fostering strong relationships and meeting contractual obligations.
- Regularly assess and improve ESG ratings through proactive measures, demonstrating a commitment to continuous enhancement of sustainability practices.
- Spearhead awareness and capability-building initiatives across the organization to empower employees and stakeholders with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective ESG integration.
Role Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role focused on ESG strategies and implementation within the textile industry.
Education: Advanced degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations relevant to the textile industry.
- Proven project management skills to drive the execution of sustainability programs efficiently.
- Ability to foster a culture of sustainability through effective training and awareness programs.
- In-depth knowledge of ESG reporting requirements and experience in timely and accurate reporting.
