Head Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG)
Role Purpose:
The head of ESG will lead the organization's ESG strategy building and goals setting keeping the corporate objectives in view. The role-holder will also catalyze the implementation of ESG-related activities and their inclusion in operations and business practices.
Responsibilities:
- ESG culture development
- Engagement with leadership teams and influence alignment f growth objectives with ESG goals.
- Be a knowledge leader in this space -ESG & sustainability in the organization and share best practices and the latest developments and their relevance for the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, social, and governance (ESG) systems and programs.
- Ensure compliance and minimize risk
- ESG reporting and communications -internal & external.
- Own commercial and implementation plans for the roll-out of key initiatives.
- Track the progress of the ESG commitments and ensure proper discussion in the organization.
- Be a change agent and embrace the broader ESG mindset across the organization as an integral part of the business decision-making.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA/PGDM.
- BE/BTech
- Overall 10+ years of experience in large Corporates or Consulting or both.
- The experience must include 2+ years of ESG-related experience in a large corporate setup or consulting - advising design and implementation of ESG programmes.
