Head - Equity Research - Retail Segment - Broking Firm

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of equity research analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional development.

- Research Strategy: Develop and execute equity research strategies aligned with the company's investment objectives and market trends. Generate stock ideas. Coordinate Equities Research and Strategies within the team including the supervision and training of Junior Analysts

- Investment Analysis: Conduct fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.

- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess company valuations, earnings projections, and investment returns.

- Report Writing: Prepare and present comprehensive equity research reports, investment recommendations, and market insights for internal stakeholders and clients. Participation in the writing, vetting, quality control and presentation of all reports within the team

- Client Engagement: Interact with clients, portfolio managers, and senior management to discuss investment strategies, research findings, and market trends. Advise and Provide Market Intelligence to Brokerage Clients including periodic investment recommendations. This does not preclude making presentations to HNIs and institutional clients. Provide Research support to client relationship officers to boost business development

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical guidelines in equity research practices.

- Market Intelligence: Stay updated with macroeconomic factors, industry developments, and competitive landscape to enhance research quality and investment decisions.
