Head - Environmental/Social & Governance - Pharma

- Design, implement and promote projects for various sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goals in consultation with business.

- Monitor implementation of environmental and social actions, related policies, management systems, compliance norms, and track performance across the operations of the company. Prepare detailed annual environmental and social monitoring reports and update management periodically

- Formulate plans and strategies for implementing ESG performance under the GRI reporting

- Assist in developing ESG impact metrics (in consultation with relevant business heads) and maintain org-level ESG scorecard, ensure timely reporting (Dow Jones Sustainability Index - DJSI) as per guidelines and ensure accurate data is published in the annual report based on inputs received from business functions

- Provide guidance on key issues related to environmental and social impact assessment, potential sustainability risks in the design, implementation, and supervision of organization's operations taking into consideration best industry practices and standards. Lead the execution of and provide advice to concerned stakeholders on corporate social responsibility, ESG, sustainability programs, reporting, and research

- Create guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align with best practices, frameworks and enable the organization to carry out and enhance programs. Draft content for sustainability, trend reports, and other communications

- Support the leadership team in developing and implementing management systems and processes for improving the overall EHS performance of the company. Support EHS internal audits to ensure consistent implementation of the EHS management system across the organization

- Conduct qualitative benchmarking studies on corporate sustainability programs, goals, disclosures, performance, and rankings among companies, with corresponding data collection and analysis for sustainability reporting, industry research, and data management needs
