Head EHS
EHS Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement the organization's EHS vision, strategy, and policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the EHS team to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure alignment of EHS initiatives with the organization's business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Review EPR compliance as part of Plastic Waste Management Rules.
- Develop pollution control/prevention and recycling programmes (Air, Water, Noise, Soil and Waste)
Compliance and Risk Management:- Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to mitigate hazards.
- Develop emergency preparedness and response plans.
Training and Development:- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and competency in EHS practices.
- Promote employee engagement and accountability in adhering to safety standards.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:- Track and analyze EHS metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on EHS performance and compliance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in EHS processes.
Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship:- Drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the organization's environmental goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in EHS-related matters and advocate for best practices.
