Head - Enterprise Architect - Retail/Hospitality/Real Estate

Our client is a leading player in Retail/Hospitality & Real Estate Industry. They build and operate some of the world-class projects and have attended leadership status in these categories. They are expanding their operations and they have an aim to be leaders in implementing cutting edge technologies in their IT division. They have ear marked ambitious budget to be on top of the live in information Technology. For this they are looking for Head - Enterprise Architect (IT) to be based in Bangalore with more than 18 years of experience with following KRAs but not limited to this:

- Develop the best possible technical direction for company, while working with existing technologies and business systems, current project needs, future business requirements and emerging technology trends.

- Select technologies and tools for defining procedures, standards and guidelines, and implement key technical groundwork building blocks; advise on technical strategies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Maintain responsibility for end-to-end technologies related to applications and data including distributed and web applications, middleware, presentation, integration, data stores, database decision support, coding languages, development environments and platform choices.

- Develop, implement and maintain digital enterprise architecture standards that drive business capabilities and optimization to create efficiency, quality and agility.

- Identifies opportunities for improvement in current overall architecture and that of individual systems. Identifies costs savings and evaluates options based on business strategy alignment.

- Manages the effort to collect and maintain current and future state enterprise architecture models. Develops comprehensive technology recommendations and presents to executive management.

- Oversees research and information gathering to aide in product life cycle planning, utilizing knowledge of IT industry future directions. Monitor the industry solution landscape to track the development of available solutions, and identify opportunities for adapting the team's solution architecture.

- Create and communicate the relevant technologies, tools, procedures, standards and guidelines; facilitate adoption by the project teams in a timely manner

- Provide support to project teams by assisting with training, mentoring, troubleshooting and testing new technologies; mentor project teams and end users on enterprise architecture blueprint and domain reference architectures.

- Reviews project team architectural designs to ensure consistency & alignment with defined target architecture and adherence to established architecture standards.

- Identify project risks and issues; determine severity/probability and strategies for dealing with risks; monitor progress of issue resolution and negotiate solutions, as necessary.

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the technology roadmap for the organization.
