Engineering - Head ( Dapodi)

Job Description :

Common for all Divisions :

- You will lead, guide and coordinate the engineering activities within the Company with the goal of achieving the highest customer satisfaction as well as the best product quality, cost and innovation

- As a member of the Management team, you will participate and take responsibility for the Strategy Deployment of the company

- You will set up efficient, lean, transparent and reliable engineering processes to guarantee that the targets in terms of overall timing and profitability are met while decreasing administration burden and increasing throughput

- You will implement the necessary KPIs allowing the monitoring of the department performance in terms of New Product Development, Product Support, Quality as well as overall development of the team

- You will develop a strong structure and competence development plan of the departments personnel including a good balance between Product Company and Gecia resources.

- You will ensure efficient and collaborative interaction between the core and package engineering teams

- You will lead and organise the New Products Development through competent and empowered project teams and integrate the concept of modularity.

- You will ensure timely and efficient technical support to the other departments as required.

For example, to support resourcing projects, resolve issues raised in production (Andons), assist in Vetting Committees, participate in Continuous Improvement Activities etc

- You will promote the development offered by the Lean principles and IT/IS/Cloud based solutions for improved customer experience and increased efficiencies.

Specific to Oil Free Air Division :

- Develop the team as a competent Design Center for large Piston units (Medium and High Pressure as well as Industrial gases and CNG) sold in the Indian market as well as for export

- Develop the team as a competent and efficient Localization Center for Screw units and other technologies as required

- Support agility in managing efficiently the Standard + product offering Specific to Airtec Division

- Develop the team as a competent Design Center for large Piston blocks (Medium and High Pressure as well as Industrial gases and CNG)

- Support OFA Standard + and Systems teams with the release of non-standard blocks Specific to Medical Gas Division

- Develop the team as a competent Design Center for cost effective Filtration Systems produced in PNB

- Develop the team as a competent and efficient Localization Center for other production as required by the division
