Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our talented development team. This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our startup, with equity share as a key component of the compensation package. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Python/Django and React, keen to leverage technology to advance MedTech.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers in developing cutting-edge MedTech solutions.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to drive product development initiatives.

- Architect and implement scalable and robust systems using Python/Django and React.

- Provide technical leadership, ensuring best practices, code quality, and efficient development processes.

- Contribute to the strategic vision of the company's technology roadmap, particularly in the context of MedTech innovation.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on Python/Django and React.

- Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of MedTech and a passion for advancing healthcare through technology.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Hands-on experience with full-stack development, from backend to frontend.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a startup environment.

- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and regulations.

- Prior success in building and launching MedTech products.
