Head - Engineering - IT

We are seeking a Head of Engineering with a passion for building high performing, diverse engineering teams. This person will define and implement methodologies that leverage best-in-class development principles to accelerate product/platform/service development and innovation. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Engineering will be responsible for giving oversight and direction on strategy, standards, and opportunities for economies of scale. It is critical to have a passion for innovation and creativity, with an ability to build strong and productive relationships with all team members.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience leading product engineering teams.

- Lead engineering initiatives to improve coding and design standards.

- Identifying key competency gaps and facilitating training for the engineering team.

- Researching, designing and implementing new platform features.

- Conduct technical demos and proof-of-concepts with pre-sales engineering team.

- Shown team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done.

- Experience working with front-end technologies React.js, Next.js, React Native, Redux, Formik, Webpack

- Experience working with back-end technologies like Node.js (Express.js, Sails.js, Nest.js), DB: MySQL, ElasticSearch, .

- Experience working with caching Layer: Redis. S3 Cloud Services: AWS

- Providing technical leadership to the engineering teams building the platform features.

- Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high performance engineering team.
