Head - Engineering - Consumer/FMCG
Responsible to support Lalru Factory strategic roadmap for growth by providing and maintaining assets, utilities, facilities, and Operational Technology with IT, bringing growth projects, through direct and indirect reportees, engineering related safety standards, so operations can run safely, effectively and efficiently at low cost and productivity. Ensure run of factory according to requirements, and managing compliance management system for all engineering compliance licenses, other standards such as FSI, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, GMP, WISER - Damaway/Dan-IWS followed consistently.
SAFETY:
1. Ensure WISE2 and WISER Implementation runs well in area Zero LTI/NLTI, WISE Score and SBA:
- Accountable for all company assets safety and fulfill the K3LH standard and safety related (WISE, FM Global/AON)
- Accountable for engineering safety system to ensure all engineering employees and people around work area always work in accepted/complied safety level.
- Bring best in class practices which will improve safety level in overall site for both internal and external parties
- Ensure new projects are coming Right First Time through Early Equipment Management
QUALITY:
1. Ensure Quality Implementation runs well in area FTR (First Time Right):
- Accountable to do risk assessment on product quality in project execution with project management tools : Project Brief (BOSCARD), Project Charter, FMEA, HAZOP, VE, etc.
- Accountable to deliver FSI compliance for factory and ensure zero gaps from technical point of view expect in cases where any activity/proposal is explicitly denied.
- Accountable to do continuous improvement to ensure product quality meet specification, and there is no quality incident in factory during continuous improvement activity / project execution
PRODUCTIVITY:
1. To ensure effective and efficient maintenance system and industrial services FSL, Repair & Maintenance Schedule & Cost
2. Ensure compliance of operation to local & regulation PROPER, Green, other compliances
3. To carry out project/study cost & feasibility of investment CAPEX Implementation
- Control operation and management of technical store in well balance between stock / cost to minimize inventory
- Total OPEX and project budgeting (CAR & Capex) and the use of budget in line with project need accordance to project design
- Deliver targets for spare inventory reduction
- Control repair and maintenance budget to return the machines to the working standard to collaborate in establishing good manufacturing cost budget.
- To establish M&I budget based on company inputs and manage M&I expenses
- To govern the usage of technical resources and do variance analysis and give feedback to relevant parties.
- Drive root cause analysis-es for technical problems
- Create a digital roadmap for automation of maintenance systems, energy monitoring
- Drive continuous improvement routines on energy and DIJ to work towards zero loss
- Deliver a roadmap and implement 7% year on year productivity from technical spends cost base
- Initiate PM pillar, PM pillar routines as per
- Strengthen all foundations of IWS in the responsible area
- Transform org structure to have better accountability to deliver higher OE year on year
- Create upskilling for automation transformation of the factory due to projects and new investments
- Create a metering and monitoring strategy for utility consumption monitoring
- Establish a centralized OT team and create upskilling programs
- Be accountable for PM to AM transfer to support AM pillar
- Be single point of contact who is responsible (accountability with central team) for IT infrastructure. Coordinate and drive anything needed to fix IT infrastructure.
- Ensure Dango compliance in purchasing, spares, scrap, ways of working and all processes.
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT:
1. Manage team development Training hour, IDP, coaching
2. Drive improvement activities in working area PSG & SGIA
- To perform coaching & counseling for his subordinates including needs - and monitor and review the performance regularly
- To work in close collaboration with all other departments, to ensure smooth operations of all process lines in a good industrial relations & favorable working climate
- Identify and develop talents and strengthen their leadership in Engineering team, to gain Engineering high performing team
- Develop Engineering functional and managerial skills of team members and set up their individual development plan
Education - Master's degree majoring in Mechanical or electrical engineering
Experience - Min 7 years experience (preferable from Food and Beverage Industry - Baby Food/ Infant Milk)
