Head - Engineering

As a Tech Lead, you'll define technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment to tech strategy, reference architecture, enterprise data standards, application simplification and digital modernisation agendas. You'll translate business strategy into technical strategy, helping business leaders understand technology concerns by working at the forefront of all technology decisions and ensure performance and availability of technology. You'll be the expert in the tech landscape with a clear vision on trends and capabilities to create competitive advantage; ensure IT risks, technical debt and the associated impacts are understood.

- Knowledgeable around architecture, software / systems engineering and influencing senior leaders in their technology roadmap direction.

- Responsible for funding, resourcing, and budgets.

- Ability to work across teams and influence great outcomes, solve problems, and operate at times with ambiguity.

- Excellent commercial acumen with experience in strategic planning.

- Comfortable managing virtual and indirect teams to achieve the outcomes.

Essential Skills:

- 18+ years of experience of experience in relevant field, with 5+ years of experience in core technology organization

- Experience in developing 3-tier cloud-native application.

Frontend: React and Redux (Preferred) or Micro frontend

Backend: .Net Core (preferred), or C#

Database: SQL and NoSQL experience

Public Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud)

Containers/Kubernetes Platform

- Microservices design and implementation of highly scalable APIs

- Scripting/programming languages (i.e., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python)

- CI/CD tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus)

- Automated Quality Engineering and Testing (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing)

Education Qualifications:
