Our client Anviti Insurance Brokers Private Limited is in the process of setting up its Insurance Broking operations in India. Anviti is promoted by Catamaran, the proprietary investment firm of Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Limited. Primary Skill :
- The leader is an Insurance Broker, with 10 to 25 years of experience consisting in the Insurance Broking Industry, with a deep understanding of the Insurance Industry and has in-depth expertise in Energy Practice.
- S/he is responsible for enabling the company to win business from customers by leveraging the specialized domain knowledge
- S/he will execute the specialty business strategy in their chosen areas of specialities along with the Sales Leader and the Account teams.
- S/he is responsible for building the practice and supporting the sales team and for driving a winning domain knowledge based sales culture.
- The incumbent will define and execute a penetration strategy for existing clients, while adhering to the company's defined sales processes.
The candidate should have :
- Strong communication and presentation skills, consultative selling, advising, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of the insurance market - in India and Worldwide.
- An IRDAI licentiate certificate. Insurance professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated extra-ordinary domain knowledge in their chosen areas of expertise and should have won new business consistently
- A consulting mind-set, strong analytical skills, a competitive drive.
Relevant work experience :
- Ability to manage and excel in ambiguous situations
- Worked with a matrix structured organization; a team player and is collaborative.
- Worked with existing clients, Account teams, Broking or Practice groups to develop a global perspective in the placement, development and account management in the selected specialty line across geographies.
The responsibilities will include :
- Manage direct reports as required, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall companies- strategy, that their performance is satisfactory and that they are taking the necessary action continually to develop their capability as business leaders.
- Work to create geographic and industry-specific growth plans for the specialty line.
- Develop and co-lead to win new large accounts. Drive improvement by providing thought leaderships on client and commercial issues as well as developing talent and capability within business units.
