Role - Editorial Head

Job location - Mumbai

Qualifications and Experience :

- A Degree from any tier-1 colleges, preferably in English or Journalism

- At least 8-10 years of experience in print or digital publishing

- Experience in handling a team of proofreaders, content writers and quality assurance in publishing

- Any background in school education would be a bonus

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the overall project planning

- Review of editors' work

- Review of creators' work

- Creating L&D resources and conducting training

- Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues

- Monitor all operations that affect the quality

- Supervise and guide the whole quality - Edit team

- Assure the reliability and consistency of work by checking processes and final output

- Simplify proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality projects

- Rigorously follow the prescribed list of checks for each project

- Point out conceptual errors and work with the Curriculum Team to correct them

- Keep in mind the ease of use for students and teachers; point out instances where these may be improved and help the Curriculum Team to rework them

- Adhere strictly to assigned projects and timelines, understanding the turn-key system

- Maintain quality standards under tight timelines and demanding schedules
