- Our client offers a subscription based service for kids that offers an inquiry and play-based program for early childhood learning at home for children. It is a startup founded by alumni from IIT, IIM and Georgia Tech that is backed by industry veterans and funded by top-tier venture capital firms. We design, develop and deliver activity kits to the homes of the subscribers every month on a subscription basis. The boxes contain all material and instructions for hands-on fun activities that children in the age group of 2-12 years can do with their parents.
- As the Head of E-Commerce Sales, you will be responsible to drive the current revenue and profit growth trajectory while positioning the company for dramatic growth. You will manage a sales team of 30 people and will be responsible to scale up the team to 100 people in 2 years.
The key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Working with the Executive Management team to define corporate e-Commerce strategy
- Responsible for implementing e-Commerce strategy and managing the end to end e-Commerce revenue
- Managing and directing the e-commerce sales force to achieve sales and profit goals
- Owning and driving the top line, as well as the bottom-line of the e-Commerce business of the Company
- Laying down the roadmap for new account acquisition and ensuring its execution
- Working closely with the sales force to accelerate pipeline development, in the identification, conversion and management of new clients
- Driving the sales force to nurture and develop new business relationships and converting them to be part of the Company's growing client base
- Framing and mapping opportunities based on historical results and current trends to maximize sales
- Managing and owning the branding/marketing including Social Media Integration
- Coordinating with cross functional teams to improve, develop and advocate new promotional opportunities
- Maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders and being the face of the Organisation in the business community
Candidate Profile:
- MBA from Tier 1/2 Institutes preferred
- Proven experience of 5 - 8 years in driving sales and managing end-to-end revenue
- Demonstrated success building great teams and independently managing the business
- Demonstrable experience in lead management and people management
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Excellent communication skills
